Complex Care for Younger & Older Adults
Hill House sits within1.6 acres of landscaped gardens and borders the major conurbation area of Drayton. It will be converted from its current design and floor plan to accommodate smaller homely environments and will house up to 16 residents in total.
The households have been specifically designed to encourage social inclusion, participation in activities, greater quality of life and a community feel, whilst still being able to provide complex neurological nursing care. The home will consist of 2 x 8 bed households and a wellbeing centre which will include a activity & wellbeing space, a sensory room, therapy space, sensory garden and has been created to help those with complex neurological and rehabilitation needs. There is also designated social and quiet areas to provide calm and safe environments for residents’ to enjoy alone or family time.
It has all local amenities residents and their families may require to hand, including an easily accessible village centre through an established network of roads, rail, airport and local public transport links.
Hill House was created to support people that have complex long-term disabilities, chronic illness, or who have substantial ongoing health care needs, including but not limited to those discharged from hospital following high dependency care and treatment. All residents’ biopsychosocial needs will be supported, even if they remain in a minimally aware state and are mainly cared for in bed.
